See the listing below for all open positions. When you feel moved to volunteer, please fill out our When our Director receives your completed form, he will contact you. Together you will discover your special gifts that will lead you to a greater understanding of your spiritual role at UFH.

Youth Ministry
Position Title: Youth Teacher or Teacher Assistant or Paid Childcare
Description: Serve alongside experienced teachers as you celebrate and awaken the God-Self within each child and team member.
Training available. (10 positions open)
Interests: Children and youth mentoring
Day/Time: Teachers: Sunday morning
Paid childcare: Sunday morning or afternoon, weekdays
Frequency: 1 or 2 services weekly, every other week, monthly or as a substitute
Worship Ministry
Position Title: Technology Team
Description: Help with various production needs for sanctuary services, including audio, lighting, and staging. Training available. (6 positions open)
Interests: Production and/or computers
Day/Time: Twice a month on either a weekday evening, Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning.
Frequency: Ongoing service
Position Title: Ushers Team
Description: Ushers orchestrate the logistics of our worship services, prepare the worship space and help people have their best possible worship experience. A great ministry area for those who like to actively participate in worship. (10 positions open)
Interest(s): Hospitality
Day/Time: Sundays, 1st or 2nd service (twice a month)
Frequency: Twice a month
Position Title: Bulletin Inserts Composer
Description: Assist UFH members by updating and editing the bulletin inserts each week. (1 position open)
Interest(s): Communications, Computer software (Microsoft Word)
Day/Time: Every Friday 8:00 A.M. deadline for bulletin content
Frequency: Once a week
Position Title: Minister's Assistant Team
Description: This group works behind the scenes to make sure some of the most beautiful and important parts of our worship run smoothly.
They take care of all the minister's details regarding attender communication. (10 positions open)
Interest(s): Production
Day/Time: Sundays, either during the 1st or 2nd service.
Frequency: Twice a month
Hospitality Ministry
Position Title: Refreshments Team
Description: Enhance the UFH fellowship experience by serving food and refreshments. Serve alongside a trained team member to see if this serving role is a fit for you. Arrive 30 minutes before the service, then attend the service. Or serve immediately after the service. (10 positions open)
Interest(s): Hospitality, Cooking
Day/Time: Sundays, either during the 1st or 2nd service.
Frequency: Twice a month
Position Title: Special Events Team Leader
Description: Lead UFH Team Members to assist in planning and serving during our potlucks. If you like organizing parties and delegating tasks to others, this is for you! (1 position open)
Interest(s): Adult Team Leadership, Delegation and Mentoring
Day/Time: 4 times a year, immediately following an 11:00 A.M. Sunday service
Frequency: Twice a month
Position Title: Faith Lift Film Team
Description: Support the First Friday spiritual film content by bringing audio, video, food, refreshments and spiritual discussion elements together. Training available. (4 positions open)
Interest(s): Production, Hospitality
Day/Time: Every first Friday of the month from 7:00 to 9:30 P.M.
Frequency: Once a month
